The North American Notary Association was organized in 1998 for the purpose of developing and implementing comprehensive Notary Training and Assistance Programs for the members of the Notary Profession. Further, it is the responsibility and duty of the NANA to provide the American public with the best possible services that a Notary can provide. Simply put, a Notary is Commissioned by his or her jurisdiction to protect the public from Fraudulent Acts by the complete and proper identification of the signing person to a document.

     To these ends NANA will offer comprehensive seminars, engage in dialogs with the appropriate state and government officials to make the 21st Century Notary fully equipped to perform their obligations and duties. NANA and its staff are located in the community of El Cajon, CA, a suburb of San Diego, California.
